Like all children, W and R "grew up" between age 1 and age 2. But V has changed so much more in her year of growing than the twins did in theirs. At age 1, the twins were walking, had excellent fine motor skills, were eating off Mommy's plate and were generally trying to bend the world to their will. By contrast, V was still such a baby at age 1 - not standing unsupported, not even close to walking, eating only a few solids because she had so few teeth and just happy being carried around and watching the world go by. Her babyness just a year ago makes for quite the contrast to the confident, fearless girl that she has gown up to become at age 2. No longer content to just watch the world go by, V insists on keeping up with her older sisters -- she climbs what they climb, eats what they eat, and follows along with their games.
Here's some current photos of V that let you see what a big girl she is these days.
As a comparison, here's V's photo from June 2009. When she was baptised in mid-June last year, she still couldn't even stand up on her own!
