Use Your Words

This morning, R kept saying pointing at the TV, saying "TeeTee" and then holding up her arms and saying "Mah-Mah". She wasn't saying MaMa (as in her word for Mommy). I knew she wanted the TV on and as I tried to figure out what she was saying, we both grew more and more frustrated.

I thought we were headed for meltdown teritory when she started saying BOO-YAH! over and over in a singsong voice. The lightbulb went on in my head. BOOM-DI-AH-DAH!

A quick search of YouTube and here's what she wanted to see.

When the guy says "I love hot magma!", R throws her arms in the air and shouts "MAH-MAH!". The kid only has about a 40 word vocabulary and she decides to add MAGMA. That's useful. Heh.

We've watched it about 50 times today.
