Tee Tee!

Tee Tee! That's twins-speak for Trick or Treat!

After a long nap to recover from the excitement of the party, we headed out with all three girls and Harper for Tee Tee. W and R knew something was up -- we'd been talking about Trick or Treat all week and they had no idea what it was but they were so worked up that they were vibrating.

We have no idea where we`re going or why we're dressed like this
but we are so excited we're going to POP!

Mommy and Daddy REALLY enjoyed taking everyone out for Trick or Treat. Sometimes we take the twins to activities and they are just along for the ride. We take them where we are going, they seem confused about why we're there, then they demand food and we go home. Tonight, they seemed to "get it" -- after the first house, where they realized that they were going to get snacks, they were very eager to go to other houses!

First Trick or Treat!

After about 5 houses, R's eyes were glazed over and they were both sort of stumbling along. We headed home and after a quick inspection of the candy, we allowed them to each dig in and choose a few pieces. R and W don't get a lot of candy -- really, they don't get any candy. When presented with an array of mini-treats, they both immediately chose a small box of raisins, because it was the only item they recognized.

Violet made a costume change for the evening portion of the programme.

We gave them each a small package of Smarties (which in Canada, are a candy like M&Ms). Not long after eating this much candy, they started running around in circles, making high pitched squealing noises and laughing like maniacs.

We can't wait to do it again next year!!

And Grandma G. vibrated for them just reading about the adventure. Glad to see those pumpkins came out of the closet and were used for something besides making noise.
