Before Mommy and Daddy went on their Great Hot Air Balloon Ride, they went out to dinner. We went on the hot air balloon ride in the nearby town of London, Ontario. We arrived early and drove through the downtown of this surprisingly nice city and happened upon this restaurant/bar:
Intrigued, we went inside . . .
At our table, we came across a rare sight here in Canadialand:
Canadian eating and drinking establishments are ridiculously stingy with napkins. Many fast food and take out restaurants dole out napkins one-by-one, giving only one napkin per meal ordered. No unsupervised napkin dispensers north of the 49th parallel! When one has 3 small children, limited access to napkins is not a good thing.
Given that 90% of the country is covered in trees, what's up with the hoarding of napkins?
On the way back to the car, we saw the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame. We didn't have time to go inside, but I assume we'll be there in the not too distant future to attend the induction ceremony for Dr. Stan.
Never a dull moment.
