Everyone Sings the Pumpkin Song

Today W and R opened their Halloween cards from their grandparents. They really enjoyed playing with the cards. R kept opening her card and "reading" it out loud.

They really enjoyed these cards much more than it would appear from this photo.

We're hosting a Halloween "party" tomorrow for our playgroup. Mommy has never hosted a party as, well, a Mommy. It's going to be a learning experience. Hopefully everyone will have fun. I'm trying not to think about the potential for destruction as six not-quite-two-year-olds descend upon our home. Really, I'm not thinking about it.

To prepare for the "party", we put up some decorations.

We made treat bags for our friends.

Mommy made pumpkin spice cookies.

We carved a pumpkin.
