Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Eyes and Ears and . . . Hand, Foot and Mouth??

We've gotten some concerned emails that we stopped posting for the last week or so, just as our support team of Grandma and Grandpa left for home. We miss them but managed pretty well for our first week. Between Daddy Relcuk being out of town (leaving Mommy flying solo for a few nights with the three kiddos) and having quite a few visitors, we were pretty busy. We do have some nice photos to share with our loyal readers and more posts are forthcoming.

This week we've been battling "hand foot and mouth" virus in the twins. While we had never heard of it before, this is apparently a common childhood illness in our part of Canadialand. We've seen W and R through jet lag, colds and earaches but, in comparison, this is pretty terrible. They each have about a dozen blisters in their mouth and are begging to eat but can't eat. They're exhausted and fall asleep in our arms, on the floor, etc. but can't stay asleep for long.

Baby V is fine so far. And the twins are getting a little better each day!

Oh no! I hope everyone is feeling better soon...it's something going around here too, there was a sign posted about it at Jake's daycare last week.

HI -- Don't worry. Landen had it, too!!! Good thing is (so I'm told) once you get it, you'll never get it again.
