Sneaking On Stage and Other Adventures

And our week of fun with Cousin T continues.  We took her to see the animals at Waterloo Park.  Well, Cousin T. looked at the animals.  W & R mostly looked at and talked about the animal poop.  That's where we're at these days.

Alpaca.
Not A Llama.

This morning, we headed to the splash pad but, this being Canadialand, our mid-July summer high was only 22 degrees (translation: 71 degrees).   The actual in-water time lasted less than 20 minutes, which was about 1/4 the amount of time we spent getting ready/travelling to the park/eating snacks/unpacking and repacking our bags.   Still without Cousin T., this outing would not be possible -- Mommy simply cannot safely monitor three toddlers at one time, even if the water is only 6 inches deep!

Tonight, we headed to City Hall for "Toonie Tuesday", a singing, dancing, juggling, magic-trick, face painting and crafts extravaganza conducted every Tuesday evening in July.  (For those readers who may not be familiar with the term "Toonie" please click here . . .).

Yes, that's Cousin T. on stage (far right).
The singer selected volunteers from the crowd and . . .
she wasn't selected but just sort of mingled with the lucky kids
and made her way on to the stage.

The balloons were far more interesting to the twins than the stage performance.

We've got three more days with Cousin T. so we'll keep the good times rolling!
