Happy Canada Day 2009!

A year has passed and we find ourselves again joining our Canadialand-ian neighbours in their celebration of the founding of this nation.  The weather was not as nice as last year so, rather than enjoying sunshine on the deck, we took the girls to the Children's Museum, where they learned about the history of Canada, made a Canadian flag craft and ran around in the open spaces.

It wasn't We didn't get any pics this morning and when we finally got around to snapping a few shots of Baby V (who is in fact the official Canadialandian within our family), she was crabby and uncooperative.   Or maybe she was just angry that she has to sport last year's Canada Day shirt?

The fireworks around us are already starting and the big show will kick off around 10 p.m.  If the rain holds off, we'll have an amazing view from the deck of the Deluxe Apartment in the Sky.
