Some of you have emailed to ask why, of late, our posting has slacked off.
For months, going outside involved of stuffing three children in snowsuits and snowboots, slathering vaseline on wind chapped cheeks and and encasing the stroller in blankets and a plastic wind protector. Even a car ride to the mall required hats and mittens (and once the twins started walking everywhere, snowboots) in order to make it from the vehicle to the indoors.
But now, we've joined the locals in a defining task of Canadian culture - forgetting, if only for a few short, golden months, that we ever had a winter.
