R loves it and leave it in for hours at a time, W won't cooperate and rips it out immediately. This should not surprise anyone.

I read somewhere that you can put some sort of sticky foam on the clips for fine hair.
Or perhaps hot glue some of that foam stuff to the clips(they have it in sheets at the craft store -- I'll bring you some).
Doesn't hurt to try...
yep, the foam does keep the clips from falling out, but bar actually gluing the bow to the child's hair, I have found no way to keep A. from ripping out a hair clip. The Pebbles look is good. Just stay away from chunky accessories and one shouldered dresses.
