Happy Easter!

Here is a charming Easter portrait of the girls together before we headed out to Easter Mass. It was pretty much all downhill from this point in terms of smiles and good behaviour . . .

Our efforts to celebrate the religious significance of Easter are probably best described using the words: "trainwreck", "meltdown", "rambunctious" and "maniacs". We spent most of Easter service in the misleadingly named "Quiet Room" of our church and, even so ended up leaving the service early, only to find our minivan blocked in by randomly triple parked car.

The twins' wild ways were likely due to the fact that, in celebrating the secular holiday of Easter, they had cheesy chips and a chocolate egg for breakfast. (Note to self: Next year, put while wheat muffins in the Easter basket.) But, even the usually mellow Baby V decided that she needed to make a decidedly unjoyful noise unto the Lord.
